Azizia recently completed her Master’s in Biology at York University, an experience that has taught her the importance of patience and perseverance. Her three greatest passions are learning, science and health, and community service, which were perfectly captured throughout her research experience. Research empowered her because it allowed her to ask her own questions and use her insight to advocate for change. In her free time, she reads as many books as she can. Each book changes her intellectually and emotionally and at times shows her that she is not alone. It’s a great debt that she owes to books, and so she writes in order to repay them for teaching her so much and to give back to this (not so) little world of ours.
